FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS

Kiana is our third Shiloh, and came to live with us when Terra was 8 months old. On a visit with Terra to her breeder, I found half-sisters to Terra looking for homes. They shared the same big, friendly, and gentle father, CJ’s Cadence of Shenandoah, and the dam was CJ’s Dreamin’ De Lobo, a beautiful sweetheart of a girl who carries a lot of the Lobo line, which I am so partial too, thanks to our Moose. After mulling it over for about a week, then spending another day with the pups, I brought home another precious angel in fur that we named Kiana Kulani, meaning moon goddess of heavenly nature in Hawaiian.

Kiana is the biggest cuddlebug of the bunch and she loves to rub up against us and snuggle up with us in bed. Like her half-sister Terra, she was no trouble at all as a pup and was easily trained. Although shy at first, and slower to mature, she is now coming into her own and becoming a proud and confident young lady. Kiana has a beautiful expression, wonderfully soft coat, thick saber tail, good bone, and graceful, effortless movement. We took a handling class and beginning agility, and when she was ready, we entered her in her first conformation show. That weekend she earned 11 points and two majors with Rarities.
